Warriors Analysis
The Warriors regained first place in the Western Conference with a dominant win over the previous number one Denver Nuggets team 142-111 on Tuesday night.
The Warriors put up an insane 51-point first quarter that Denver never recovered from. The Splash Brothers, Stephen Curry, and Klay Thompson scored 31 points apiece and Kevin Durant added 27 points.
Most of the Warriors starters, in a blowout, played a little longer than I would have liked in the first game of a back-to-back, but Thompson and Kevon Looney should be on relatively fresh legs for tonight’s game.

Pelicans Analysis
New Orleans continues their road trip tonight, and luckily the Pelicans will be in and out of town before their former center makes his season debut with the Warriors on Friday.
But don’t think the Pelicans have any less of a challenge. Aside from the loss the Warriors early this season, this is also the team that gave them their playoff exit last season.
The Pelicans are below .500 and they’d probably be in much worse condition if not for all-star center Anthony Davis, who has been having an MVP-caliber season.
Their most recent win came on Monday night, 121-117 over the Los Angeles Clippers. Davis finished with 46 points and 16 rebounds to lead New Orleans, but Julius Randle has continued to play well, as he had 27 points against the Clippers.
The Pelicans will need more from role players like E’Twaun Moore, Nikola Mirotic and Elfrid Payton against the Warriors tonight.

Golden State is 17-6 at home and 29-10 as the favorite. New Orleans has struggled mightily on the road with a 6-17 record. They are 5-13 as the underdog.

DraftKings & FanDuel Fantasy Picks
Kevin Durant ($10.4k) and Anthony Davis ($13.7k) are standout fantasy players for this matchup. Durant played well last night and is expected to do well again tonight. FanDuel has him projected for 52.41 points. Davis is pegged for 60.81 points.
If you’re looking for a value addition to your team, look no further than Draymond Green ($7k) and Julius Randle ($7.8k). If you’re a box score watcher, you may look at Green’s point totals lately and let that scare you off, but even after scoring just four points last night, he still had 32.70 points and is projected for 34.49 tonight. Randle is expected to finish with 36.48 points.
