Cincinnati Bengals vs. Pittsburgh Steelers Matchup Preview (11/15/20): Betting Odds, Depth Charts, Live Stream (Watch Online)

The Steelers remain the only undefeated team in the league at 8-0 and the Bengals are fresh off of a bye looking to change that. Joe Burrow and the company have been fantastic this season as there has been a major shift in the Bengals organization. You can’t take this team lightly and we saw the Steelers nearly slip up last week against Dallas. Pittsburgh has crushed the Bengals, winning ten straight games against them. With Burrow leading the way in this offense and the receiving core really turning up in the last few weeks, it will be a match for the defense who has struggled against opposing wide receivers at times. For the Bengals, the defense is certainly in a major rebuild mode and should be an area of focus in the offseason. If the Steelers offense struggles again there should be a cause for concern. Cincinnati Bengals Analysis

Cincinnati BengalsJoe Burrow has changed this offense for the better. He is completing 67% of his passes this season and is averaging 300 yards per game. He has given this offense some life after being below average in the last few seasons. Tyler Boyd has continued his strong production with a 54-584-3 line. He leads the team in targets with 68. AJ Green was starting to find his form before the bye week and will look to finish the season strong. Tee Higgins has really jumped into that WR3 role with 52 targets this season and he is tied in receiving touchdowns and second in yards with 488. Higgins has really stepped up and is looking like a bargain despite being drafted still early in the second round. The run game has been rather lackluster. Joe Mixon is rushing for 3.6 yards per carry right now and it is tough to do behind this offensive line that still needs work. Giovani Bernard continues to fill in nicely as Mixon is banged up and expected to miss this week. Defensively there have been some small improvements but there is a lot of work to do still. Cincinnati is allowing 23.8 point sper game on the year and is getting thrashed for 5.2 yards per carry on the ground.

Pittsburgh Steelers Analysis

Pittsburgh SteelersPittsburgh has continued their strong start to the season and defensively they are holding teams to just 17.9 points per game this season. They are scoring 29.4 per game but have had some up and down performances. Despite losing Devin Bush, this defense continues to be the strong part of their team and the most consistent on a week-to-week basis. Ben Roethlisberger is obviously an improvement from last season but it is a remembrance of how quickly it can turn south if he was to miss time. He has had a few knocks this season but overall has 18 touchdowns and averages 243-yard sper game. James Conner has played well but has had a couple of weird workload games with Benny Snell and Anthony McFarland taking over. Chase Claypool has been amazing with 444 yards and five scores this season. He is a major playmaker and has jumped Washington in targets as the third option behind JuJu and Johnson. This passing offense has certainly put up some touchdown numbers. Diontae Johnson has three, and JuJu is sitting at four. They have four players over 40 targets currently, with Eric Ebron being the fourth.

These two teams certainly differ in the record this year but ATS are two of the strongest teams in the league. Cincinnati is 6-1-1 ATS this season and the Steelers are 6-2. The over has been favorable in both sides as the Steelers defense hasn’t locked down as many opponents but still rack up sacks and turnovers. The Steelers have owned this series over the last five years and that is to nobody’s surprise but things are changing in Cincinnati. I trust the Bengals to keep this game close and cover. And this has a lot to do with Ben Roethlisberger and the offense not being trustworthy as well.

Daily Fantasy Picks

This isn’t a game that is heavy on my radar for this week. We have some wind and I don’t see a ton of fantasy value given there are 6-8 teams I rather target ahead of both of them. However, you can get some lower ownership on the Steelers, especially James Conner due to the recency bias. Cincinnati is still a below-average run defense. The issue with Conner is that we never really have any clue what the workload can be. We saw that last week as the Steelers went with McFarland and Snell quite a bit. Giovani Bernard is likely to start with Joe Mixon doubtful and this is a tough matchup but in PPR formats he has some value in the passing game. The Steelers have allowed fantasy points to receivers this season, so Tyler Boyd, Tee Higgins, and AJ Green all would be risky GPP plays. The same goes for the Steelers set, who have a better matchup but the production varies when everybody is healthy. However, Diontae Johnson when healthy continues to get a ton of looks.
